The world has many things, especially symbols. Symbols are part of everyday life and helps us understand things better. Just like everything else, informatics uses many different symbols as well.
Please also comment on "modeling the world" lecture notes and if possible try to come up with a simple model of anything you see around in your daily life like we did for the tree branch in the class.
